Meet Olivia.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, certified in Perinatal Menatal Health, based in Saint Paul, MN

Who I am

I'm Olivia — a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, certified in Perinatal Mental Health, based in Saint Paul, MN. I've spent the last decade doing clinical work across hospitals, community health settings, schools, and private practice. The thread through all of it has been the same: showing up fully for whoever is in the room.

I'm warm, direct, and genuinely invested in this work. I won't rush you. I'll meet you where you are and stay there until something starts to move.

I live in Saint Paul with my husband, our two young kids, a cat, a dog, and whatever foster dogs happen to be passing through. Our horse lives at an equine therapy barn in Isanti, MN — a place that has shaped how I think about presence and regulation and what it means to truly meet someone where they are. It's a place I've done some of my most meaningful clinical work, and one I'm returning to.

Going through my own perinatal experience has given me a different kind of understanding of that season — the tenderness of it, the disorientation, the profound love sitting right alongside the hard. It's made me a better therapist for the people I work with, and I'm genuinely grateful for that.

Outside of work I like being outside, moving slowly, growing things, and spending time with animals. I believe in community. I think nature heals. And I think genuine, unhurried care is one of the most powerful things one person can offer another.

How I Work

I work relationally and somatically — which means I pay attention to the body and the relationship between us, not just the content of what's being said.

I draw from DBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, ACT, IFS-informed approaches, Natural Lifemanship, and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy. Not as a checklist — as a toolkit I pull from based on what you actually need. The modality follows the person, not the other way around.

I believe you are not broken. I believe something in you already knows how to heal. My job is to help build the conditions for that — with enough patience to let it happen at the pace it needs to.
